                  Sharing our Vision on Keep Houston Beautiful Day to Make this Corner of Houston Beautiful and Safe for the Eastex Jensen Community

                  On the morning of April 10th, we were 18% to our goal (including receivables), leaving $36,900 to raise for The Fondren Foundation match. WCA exceeded the goal before year-end!

                    

                  Vandalism is a serious issue and the cemetery has suffered a lot of damage. 



                  Descendants of Joseph Peregoy Westcott and Ida Stratton, sisters Laura Figura (with husband Todd) and Jan Cooke arriving from Dallas, Texas.

                  Volunteer Lona Leigh McManus hands a program to Dolores Westcott, the widow of Col. Richard D. Westcott, who was a descendant of the Col. Richard D. Westcott who settled the Cross Timbers area as it was known in the 1850s.
